FREE out-of-school coding programs for traditionally underserved students, parents, and educators from Lanier High School, Burnet Middle School, Bertha Sadler Means Young Women’s Leadership Academy, Gus Garcia Young Men’s Leadership Academy, Williams Elementary, Palm Elementary, St. Elmo Elementary, Widen Elementary, G. Thompson Elementary, and Allison Elementary School, Austin ISD, Texas.
Non-Title I students may pay the Registration Fee for the Before or After-School Coding Class and Spring Break Coding Camp for students from other U.S. schools. For info on Summer Coding Camps, please click on the STEM Academy link above. The Changing Expectations coding classes and coding camps are taught by an experienced computer science teacher. Changing Expectations is a 501 (c)3 non-profit. The registration fee helps us provide FREE computer science training to K-12 teachers across the state and to provide traditionally underserved students with scholarships to attend our classes and summer camps.
Cost: $150 per Fall semester and $185 per Spring semester for the Afterschool Coding Class. $300 per student per week for the Spring Break and Summer Coding Camps. A $25 discount is provided for siblings, and 50% off the cost as scholarships are available for students who eat free/reduced priced lunch.
