K-12 Coding Camps

We offer coding camps throughout the year, including after-school hours, spring break, summer, holidays and weekends.  We use the latest technologies and educational programs, including the Code.org computer science fundamentals; Arduino hardware; and the DASH, DOT and Gigabot robotics platforms. Our courses blend hands-on, online, and self-paced tutorials with “unplugged” activities that require no computer at all. By the end of each course, students can create interactive games and stories.

Don't see a camp in your area? No problem. Request one here

Teacher workshops

Most teachers know it's important (but sometimes find it intimidating) to help students understand basic coding skills and STEM career paths. We're here to help you navigate these new areas.

Changing Expectations is a Texas Education Agency (TEA) approved Continuing Professional Education (CPE) provider (#501921). We help you understand the basics and prepare your classroom with new curriculum, teaching and learning strategies, and a network of support so you can confidentially introduce coding.

Makerspace in Austin

We're proudly united with My Brother’s Keeper initiative, which President Obama launched to address persistent opportunity gaps faced by boys and young men of color.

Through this initiative, we joined forces with the local community to connect young people in East Austin with mentoring, support networks, and skills needed to go to college and work their way into the middle class.

We created a Coding Makerspace at the Carver Museum.
